Permits for the upcoming season are available at Townend Community Centre, Dreghorn on Friday 8th March ONLY.
Digital sales will continue to be available from then until end May 2024.
All prices and arrangements remain as they were during last season.

An AGM is being organised shortly, and I hope to confirm the date before the Permit sales night. For the record, the last AGM was held in December 2019, shortly before the pandemic. I know you’ve asked this question often, and while you’re perfectly entitled to do that, I do wonder if you appreciate the pressure that has been on fishing clubs over the past 4 years. Several clubs will not be having any more AGM’s, as they’ve folded during the past couple of years – Failford and Kilmaurs to name just two. We are still here, for the time being at least, and we’ve managed to keep the club going for the benefit of members who just want to enjoy their fishing. Nobody involved in this club committee is desperate to hold on to their positions. Quite the contrary in fact. We’ve done our best to keep the club going, and in that at least we’ve been successful. It’s time for others to step up and get involved, and I hope you will do just that at the AGM, it would be good to have you on board. We are just volunteers, and like everyone else in the world, we have to balance working full time, caring for family members, and ill health, in addition to trying to keep a fishing club going.
There are other clubs in a similar situation, and it may interest you to know that Bearsden Angling Club, with whom we have a long standing association and permit swap arrangement, are only now scheduling an AGM, with their last one being pre-pandemic just like us.
When we spoke at last years permit sales, I said to you that you could contact the club at any time if you had any questions or suggestions, but other than to ask when the AGM is, you haven’t actually done that. That offer remains open, however I hope it won’t be long before we have a confirmed AGM date to announce.
