Hello my fellow anglers

This has been another strange season

Lovely trout fishing but often frustrating for salmon anglers

Still the autumn rain has arrived and our waters often come into their own with excellent sport available at a very reasonable price

One thing that has cheered me recently is meeting with members who have caught or seen sea trout

A revival of these wonderful sporting fish would be very welcome and I know of rivers to the south and north of us where stocks seem to be gradually improving

We can but hope
